the name

I wanted to give my studio a strong name that was different and thought-provoking. I decided on the the Spanish word 'hechizado', which means bewitched or enchanted. The word has charm to it. I first learned it on a study abroad trip to Spain in the summer of 2018.

studio hechizado is an up-and-coming freelance graphic design studio, emerging out of Nashville, Tennessee. With an art style that derives inspiration from nature, magic and the groovy, psychedelic art of the seventies, Studio Hechizado specializes in print design that showcases bold contrast and eye-catching visuals. At its core, it can be described as a clash between vintage and modern art, enchanting onlookers with magical allure.

The logo itself is a minimal design and there are three main components: the interlacing S and H, the words "Studio Hechizado" and a gold sparkle to further insinuate the magical element of the brand.

The chosen typeface for the brand is Brilon, an elegant and vintage typeface that showcases elements from the art deco era and presents them with a clean and modern twist.
